So, you guys remember when we spoke with artist Marci Washington on March 15th about her work, death metal, and the most haunted painting she has ever painted? You remember how she let us barrow that painting as an experiment to see if creepy things would happen after the temporary adoption? Well, we have an update!

March 23rd, 4:59am:
I woke. Suddenly and calm, feeling rested after only three hours of sleep. I had no idea why I had woken, why I didn’t feel sleepy, and why I felt as if I had been awake prior to waking…if that makes sense. I sat there wondering what I should do with my early start. Before I could get to my second thought, BANG!!! something grazed the corner of my bed and smashed into the carpeted floor. It had a hard dull sound as if you were getting your pump on with some ten pound weights, but you dropped one in the middle of your fantastic burnout… BAM!!! I was so shocked from the noise and the feeling of it smashing past my feet that I laid still. When I built the courage to peel my body from the bed, there was no ten pound weight, nor was I anymore buff.

April 4th, 5:15am:
I woke. Suddenly and easy. My eyes had some how already cleared their morning fog and I had no desire to sleep. CLANG!!! The sound of plastic hangers supporting heavy 36×34 Levi’s jeans skipping across a wooden clothing rod rang from my closet. The exact sound of me rifling through my shitty clothes, was the exact sound, only I was in bed. I laid still, unable to daydream.

April 9th, 9:55pm:
The below picture was spontaneously taken on an iPhone, no photoshop…Marci’s painting in the back…why would our eyes have a glow in the reflection of the table??
